This garden is currently being designed as a sanctuary to remind the owner of their times at the coast, evoking the landscapes and ecotones of the windswept region. The design concept follows a gradient from exposed, wheaten grasses to shaded camp under redwood trees, creating a journey to slow the senses. Salvage and reuse are priorities, with moments of art made from flotsam, and underfoot surfaces crafted of up-cycled concrete.
