Perched on a gentle Southwest Portland hillside, this garden is anchored by a series of artful terraces that double as planters and retaining walls. Upcycled concrete augments the robust tiers, transforming raw fragments into elegant structure. These planters stabilize the slope while providing generous pockets for lush, climate-adapted plantings. The irregular forms of the reclaimed concrete develop a soft, organic patina that mingles beautifully with emerging greenery, creating a living composition rooted in sustainability and craft.
