Overlooking a small Southwest Portland wetland, this garden complements a mid-century home recently remodeled by Lighthouse Architecture & Construction. The street-facing front landscape features meadow-like plantings that bring seasonal color and attract both pollinators and passersby, while the back offers a tranquil space to take in the ever-changing marsh. Drought-tolerant species ensure lasting beauty with minimal water needs. Stone accents and a naturalistic palette create a graceful transition between architecture and nature, blending form and function in a modern, harmonious way.
